In the summer months, hiking excursions are very popular, and tourists enjoy taking in the spectacular panoramic views. It’s also in a great location for a day trip to Milan and the lakes. Why not take a short two-hour drive to Milan and pass Lake Como en route?

If you’re looking to buy your chalet in a luxurious location, there are plenty of dual season resorts to cater to this also. Here are two resorts that are worth considering if you’d like to purchase your chalet in an affluent ski resort.
Megève usually gets snow from December to April. So, if you invest in a ski chalet here, you’ll sure to receive visitors throughout the ski season. Summer activities include mountain biking, paragliding, helicopter rides and much more. The village itself is also buzzing all-year-round, with high-end restaurants, boutiques and plenty of timeless French charm. Despite being a luxurious resort, it is also extremely family-friendly, so appeals to a wide range of clientele.
When most people think of a luxury ski resort, they think of Verbier. Just a two-hour drive from Geneva with a buzzing and varied après ski scene, there’s plenty to do here at any time of year. For adrenaline seekers, paragliding, climbing and sky diving are popular in the summer months. There’s also plenty of opportunities for biking and hiking. For those who wish to relax, there’s no shortage of spas for a place to unwind.
